1. Expedia - FUN FACT! I book most of my flights and hotels thru Expedia for the convenience. Not only Expedia offer flights, but it also bundles hotels, and car rentals to save you money on your entire trip.

2. Google Flights - This website is such a powerful resource for comparing flight prices across different airlines. You can set alerts for price drops and explore destinations based on your budget.

3. Skyscanner - This site allows you to search across various airlines and travel agencies to find the best prices. Its flexible search options make it easy to find the cheapest days to fly.

Accommodations matter to me. I love a luxury resort, but when traveling on budget sometimes hostels, hotels, and BnB's are the best option. I’ve curated a selection of websites that cater to every traveler’s dream vacation. Here are the websites to explore these options:

1. VRBO - Traveling solo can be exciting yet nerve wracking, but VRBO (Vacation Rentals by Owner) makes it a breeze. I love how they have a variety of unique stays, from cozy cabins to luxurious villas, you’ll get to experience the local vibe. The rentals offer comforts from home like full kitchens and spacious living areas, perfect for enjoying your privacy.Many of the properties listed are in safe, well reviewed neighborhoods, giving you peace of mind, and hosts often share personal tips to help you connect with the local culture.

2. Trivago - Trivago has been my go to app for booking accommodations as a solo traveler. It's user friendly and works with whatever budget you have, making it easy to find safe places to stay. I love how it compiles listings from different booking sites, so I can quickly compare prices and pick out the best deals. I can also filter my options based on guest reviews and safety ratings, which is super important to me. The user reviews really help me get a sense of what to expect from each place. 

3. HostelWorld - Hostelworld is a great option for budget friendly stays. I used it for my trip to Belgium and found a solo Queen Suite with no shared bath at an affordable price. It offers a variety of budget accommodations and emphasizes safety with detailed ratings, which is reassuring for solo female travelers like me. The site also features genuine user reviews to guide your choices. Also, staying in a hostel encourages social interaction, making it easy to meet fellow travelers and make friends.

They also provide clear pricing with no hidden fees and additional services like child seats or guided tours.

2. Trainline - Trainline is primarily used for booking train tickets and managing train travel across various rail networks, primarily in Europe. Trainline helped me so much when booking trains and buses when I was in Paris. I booked a train to Cognac and Bordeaux, on the cheap,  all thanks to Trainline.

3. Flixbus - Flixbus has helped me navigate through so many places. From Houston to New Orleans, to traveling from Belgium to France, Flixbus is one of the best options when it comes booking bus travel.

I never knew how much I needed travel insurance until I actually needed it! It is an essential safeguard for every traveler, providing peace of mind on your adventures.
